Patrice Pagé, Eng.

During the three years following obtaining his DEC in civil engineering technology, Mr. Pagé produced drawings in the field of building structures and steel-wood bridges. Subsequently, a return to school allowed him to obtain a university degree in mechanical engineering, after which he acquired experience in the sectors: manufacturing, industrial and equipment manufacturer. He participated in the manufacture of several dam valves for Hydro-Québec, in the design of a 20 t double overhead crane, a 150 psi pressure tank as well as in the improvement of means of transport on the road for molten aluminum. From 2002 to 2006, he acquired an excellent knowledge of welding and machining. In 2007, training courses allowed him to apply laws and regulations for the protection of machines and work at heights for various customers. From 2008 to today, it has carried out an important mandate to maintain the structural integrity of wooden wet scrubbers (10) and to maintain its suction & process system. Between January 2009 and May 2012, while continuing his employment in consulting engineering, he taught at the college level in the metallurgy department. He has trained students in the fields of heat treatment, welding, forming, and metal alloys. In the fall of 2011, he completed a series of university courses in the field of steel, aluminum and wood structures. Over the past 10 years, he has mainly worked for factories in operation (brownfield). This allowed it to acquire seasoned expertise in extending the useful life of equipment, carrying out work without stopping operations and integrating equipment. Since 2014, he has been developing knowledge for maintaining or replacing steel chimneys. Starting in 2015, he developed asset maintenance services on behalf of the company. He has participated in asset integrity audits (AIA) for several industrial plants. In 2021, he built the structure according to the AREMA standard for a locomotive turntable.
